Town criers from across the country gather at the Central Lodge before going to the competition in town on the 24th September 2011.	Paul-Henri Jeannel from Chapeau Magique. Paul Henri is a street artist and was involved in the re-launch of Huddersfield's Greenhead Park. Paul-Henri is pictured with Joe Marsden, co-owner of the Central Lodge relaxing after the show.

Christmas 2011, the Huddersfield Choral Society performed the Messiah at the Huddersfield Town Hall. Pictured are: Grant Llewellyn, Andrew Greenan, Fflur Wyn, Catherine Wyn-Rogers and Andrew Staples. All stayed at the Central Lodge during the concerts.
